Description

This packet contains a Snapdragon Mix (Antirrhinum majus) from the local UAE FlowerS.

Since snapdragons love cooler temperatures, the UAE winter season (October through February) provides the absolute perfect climate to sow and grow these flowers.

How to Grow Your UAE Snapdragon Mix
  • Sowing Strategy: Snapdragon seeds are incredibly tiny—almost like dust. Do not bury them. They require light to germinate. Sprinkle them directly onto the surface of pre-moistened, well-draining seed-starting potting mix and press down very gently so they make good contact with the soil.
  • Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Mist the surface gently with a spray bottle or water from the bottom so you don't wash the tiny seeds away.
  • Sunlight Requirements: Once seedlings sprout, move them to a spot that receives full sun to partial shade (ideally at least 4–6 hours of sunlight daily).
  • Spacing & Pinching: When transplanting them into your garden beds or larger pots, space them about 15–20 cm apart. If you want bushier plants with more flower spikes, pinch off the top growing tips once they have a few sets of leaves
